Case Study: TodayTix email marketing campaigns
Location: New York City
Goal: As Merchandising Manager at TodayTix Group, I had to write and build daily email marketing emails. I reviewed shows and created marketing copy for emails, branded push notifications, digital banners, and in-app messages. I learned basic HTML skills using the program, Iterable to create images, buttons, headlines, and copy in branded emails. I also worked on my copywriting skills by learning to create succinct marketing copy in the TodayTix brand voice.
Outcome: I successfully sent out daily emails, increasing engagement and ticket sales on TodayTix.com. I worked with the media team on targeting specific audiences using multiple segments and CRM lists in order to successfully target abandoned cart customers and past ticket buyers of similar shows.
Email Marketing Sample
This is one example of a marketing campaign for TodayTix Group. I wrote the copy, used FIGMA to create the banners, formatted the email using HTML on Iterable, and segmented the email to targeted CRM lists. This is one example of a review I wrote in an email newsletter for the Broadway show, POTUS.

Push Notification Sample
I was also challenged to create succinct and catchy marketing copy for push notifications as a part of TodayTix Group’s paid media packages. I used Adobe Photoshop to create the photos, wrote the copy, and used Iterable to build the notifications and send them out to targeted lists of ticket buyers.
